Be aware of the fact that you can lose a lot of important information out of neglect. There are malicious people who want to get your data or some company information where you work so that they get their income or plus money. And by being neglect you can facilitate their work. So how can you be sure that your personal details are under safe and protection? One viable way is to train yourself by paying attention to your habits.

Some tips for security awareness:

* Do not throw the cd into the dustbin without smashing or breaking it!
* Do not keep your passwords, codes in your cell phone! Better to keep them in your memory.
* Do not keep your ID, bank cards in your purse, might pickpocket steal both.
* Cut all those papers that contain your adress, name, bills and checks into pieces!

At the same time in most cases the disappearing of important information are caused by the laptop theft and the owners neglect.
On one hand the notebooks, the PDA are mostly stolen by the offenders at the airport, on trains, from cars but on the other hand the disorganised owners leave behind them on these scenes. Number of times it happened that these equipments have been stolen from the office.

However the offenders mostly steal the laptops and PDA not because of getting informations but its value.

All in all data loss can make big property damage for companies. And to prevent it you must have security awareness in your mind. Better to know the proper method of eliminating the paper which containing important data or make an up to date security copy of the important data.
